Travel hacking-links

We all have to spend money, but we can be strategic and smart about how we spend our money. A trend in recent years is to leverage our spending, with credit cards, to accrue points (or miles) so we can reduce our costs associated with travel. This is called Travel Hacking.

Many people do this and offset thousands of dollars of costs for their travel. It can seem intimidating at first, but with some research and planning, you can really leverage the spending that you’re going to be doing anyway. There are a number of blogs out there and I recommend Monkey Miles and The Points Guy for research.

We can help each other. If you’re excited to try travel hacking and are going to start applying for some credit cards that offer aggressive sign on bonuses, please consider signing up for the following cards and using my referral link, so we BOTH benefit.

Click HERE for a super helpful document, teaching you all the basics of the super fun Travel Hacking game.

Remember: It’s critical that you pay off your balances, in full, each month. In addition, learn about the “5/24 rule” for credit cards. ^Many people qualify for business cards, which typically don’t have the 5/24 rule AND actors/freelancers can be considered businesses, so don’t overlook the bonuses offered by these types of cards.

If have good to great credit, understand the rules, and you’re ready to apply, feel free to use the links below. I’ll get some referral points, and you should get the best deals available:
Chase Sapphire Preferred Card
Chase Ink Biz Preferred Card^
Capital One Venture X Card
